Wow What a day! (3-31-11)

Today was a pretty normal day. I started off pulling files for clients that had brought in tax papers. Then i pulled tomorrows appointments so they'd be ready and afterwards i put the tax engagement letters away. Suddenly, this older gentlemen comes in and i had spoken to him on the phone earlier, he brought in some tax forms for Neil. He started to explain them to me and it was a little hard to hear him, but after Neil was done with his client Sharon saw me struggling with the guy and told Neil to come help me. He was saying stuff that Neil pretty much already knew and he didn't have to explain it to me, but that was a fun experience. After that i put labels on some envolepes and then i started copying tax returns before i had to leave for my softball game. Today was fairly easy and you learn something everyday, wether it's how you talk on the phone or how you talk in person. It's good to keep a good ear out and be confident in what you say.
