This week has been weird and depressing, since we lost two members of the Chamber. Now the office is empty and quiet. But the fun thing happened yesterday, I made my first phone call, YAY!!!. I was nervous at first since I did not know what I was doing. When I heard the phone ringing, I wanted to hang up but I stoped myself early enough. It was fun and an amazing time. It was easier than I thought. I loved it more than seating in front of the computer. People were nice and took time to give me the information that I needed. I can't wait to do it again next week :D. On Tuesday, Ms. Sherrick came to the office, I showed her what I was working on. The shocking thing was that I was curious to hear what Libby will tell her about me. She said some nice things and everything went well. When I went back to my desk, I continued to work on a spread sheet for Kip to know how many people played to get the gift basket on the wrestling tournament weekend. It was frustrating since some people had some bad handwriting and it took me longer to figure out what they wrote. This week I had to draft three letters, two to two women who won a contest that we did on facebook and twitter, the other was to Clinton Chamber. While writing these letters, I was proud of myself and happy that I was able to communicate directly with the CVB audience and partners without Libby's help. Today, I worked on collecting the email address for restaurants. I am happy that I am almost done with it. I have a meeting with Libby on Monday to go over projects that I have completed so far. I am nervous, I do not know what she would think about it. I am sad that I would not be able to attend the sport council meeting for the next weeks to come since it's on Wednesday and I have school during that time. Sadly again, I was not able to see my sponsor today. While working today, I realized that your environment has more impact on you than you may think.
