Confusion time (3-10-11)

Today started out like a normal day. I pulled files from my tray and placed the files in the correct bin. Then i pulled the files for tomorrow so they were ready. Then put the engagement letters away in their binders. The only thing left in my bin was these new atb's that Neil had to show me how to do. Since a client came in for Neil i had to wait for Neil to get done. Sharon had left to go to the bank and lunch and so i was pulling the files for saturday since i didn't have much else to do. Confusion time!!!! Sharon came back and gave me the task of decorating the office for St. Patricks Day. I put up four four-leaf clovers up. They are really cute. So at this point it was like 2:30 and was Neil got done with his client. He came out of his office at like 2:45 and at that point i was pulling files that had just came in the mail. He asked me if i had looked at the atb's and i told him no because he had been with a client. He said it was ok and that i shouldn't start because i would be living in 15 minutes and i wouldn't be done with them. Then Sharon pulled me a side and asked me if had something that Neil needed done i should have done that before decorating and i explained to her that Neil had been with a client the whole afternoon and i couldn't have asked him for help and she said ok and then suggusted that i ask him what he was gonna do with the atb's and he said that it would depend on how this weekend goes so i might get to do them on monday when i come to work. I hope i do. Today may have been a little confusing but it made me learn that it's good to talk things through and make sure everyone understands everything.
