It's weird watching another surgery, this time we did something else besides teeth extractions or anything not dealing with the mouth.[E] Today I was able to see an arthocentecist , which deals with the mandibular joints in the jaws.[D] This surgery consists of sticking two needle heads within a patients joints one above the joint and one under the joint. By doing so you can pour a concentration into the joint to remove and build up of liquids in the joint. [D] It's a very interesting surgery because we had to measure the joints to make sure it was on point because eif it were not we would be the one to blame for permanently disabling her ability to open and shut her jaw. So no doubt you must be extremely careful and also all this must be done with sterile material. [D] Although this surgery was too difficult ot assist in Dr. E allowed me to assist him in a dry socket case. What happens here is that the blood that is supposed to cover the bone from the extracted tooth has gone and the bone is left exposed. To fix it you have to sterilize the opening and stick a filler (fills the empty openings of any extraction) inside to unexposed it causing less pain.[D] It's very apparent that there is more than just teeth surgeries that are doen in the clinic there is much more to discover[A]
