Office Day 3/1/11

Today was not an extremely busy day. Shayla and Mr. Dodds gave me a couple more projects to add onto my already growing list. I currently have two spreadsheets that I'm working on, as well as closing some files, and eventually helping Mr. Dodds draft some legal work which will be very exciting. Apparently Mr. Dodds has these great ideas in regards to changing and moving the office around about every 6 months. So, today the other assistants and I had the task of moving a ton of law books off several shelves and also physically transferring files from one file cabinet set to another. Not the most exciting task I have been given. We ran into several difficulties (like the files being too big to fit into the cabinets, of course) but overall things ran smoothly since so many of us were working on it. For the rest of the day I have been working on my individual projects like the spreadsheets. Today I realized that I don't reel extra young in the office, even though all the other employees date me by at least 15 years. Anyways what I did learn today was that again, being a secretary is NOT FOR MAYA PATTERSON haha. I'm decent at it but their job requires too many unfocused and random tasks, whereas I just want to work on one project and feel really accomplished about it. But they're calling me to go fill more cabinets with files, YAY! bye :/
