I'm a Tax Season Survivor!!!!! (3-3-11)

So today started out as one of my typical days. I put together files for Neil, Curt, Melissa and Karl. Then i put engagement letters in their folders and pulled files for tomorrow and Saturday. There wasn't much it was pretty easy. So now when i get Neils files i put the name of a client on a spread sheet so that way Neil knows where the file is at. Anyways then one of my friends dad came in and we started talking while he was waiting for Neil and it was awesome. Then the part of the day happened. So a guy came in to drop off tax information and he also brought by Tax Season Survivor kits and i was excited. There was eight total and there are eight people in the office counting me. I just set the two boxes next to my desk because i found out from Curt that the client's info belonged to Neil and i waited for him to get done with his current client and i told him that a guy brought in goodies. He was like "o he brings them in every year." Neil told me the tax info that he had brought in i should give it to Melissa and so i placed it in her mail slot. While i was working on a tax return that he had given me, he started passing out the Tax Season Survivor kits and he gave me on and said "your an official Tax Season Survivor" I was super excited cause inside the boxes were three bags of chips, a Starbucks Coffee, a power bar, gum, a note pad, a letter opener, some candy, a pen and a coffee cup. It made me feel important. I was so happy to have received one. The purpose of that man bringing in the kits it because he understands what Neil and the rest of the office goes through . He's a financial advisor and he knows how hard tax season is so he wanted to lighten up the mood some. :):):):)!!!!!!!
