Today was another stressful day at the office. I met with Kent about the email files that I have been going through and he seemed pretty happy with my work so far, although he wants me to keep working on it and finish soon. Once again I spent most of the day revising documents and doing boring housekeeping things. Kent needed to get a request to admit signed by one of his client's but she was not able to get down to the office so he had me drive to her house to get it signed instead. A request to admit is pretty much an attempt of one lawyer to reach a compromise or conclusion from the opposing client. Lawyers have to be really careful with how they word their clients admissions because they can always be used against them later. Once I returned from running that errand I worked on the email file a little bit more and then it was time to go. Not too exciting of a day. Things have been super tense lately because everyone is really stressed at the office so hopefully things will cool down soon...
