MONDAY, YO.

Today I spent the day attempting to help Kent figure out how to work his new droid phone. He was trying to turn on the family locator so that he could track his daughters wherever they were. For some reason we couldn't get it to work and we were both getting frustrated. We later figured out that it was because his daughters' phones weren't capable of being tracked, so we wasted like 2 hours for nothing.
At 2 Kent had a real estate closing and invited me to tag along and see how the process worked. The closing was at Busey Bank on Kirby and lasted about an hour. There were more people involved than I had originally expected. Not only was the buyer and the buyer's lawyer there, but a representative from the bank, two real estate agents, a witness, and several other people that I didn't know. The process was relatively tedious, just a lot of paper signing. Kent went through each paper and explained to me its relevance. There was a short argument about a doorbell which needed repair and how much was needed to repair it. The buyers lawyer wanted $100 for the repair but Kent has done a lot of home repair work and assured me that it did not cost that much to repair a doorbell and they finally settled on $75.
After the closing we returned to the office, stopping at the Verizon store briefly on the way. I ran a quick deposit to the bank and by the time I returned it was time to go. Time flies when your learning!
