This week, I only had time to work for two days because of the weather. I was not able to go in on tuesday and wednesday since the office was close. It made me sad to know that I was not going to be surrounded by people that I work with at CVB. On that day, I received an email from Libby Kacick, she wanted me to make a list of events that I think should go into the AMTRAK guide for the year. She needed that to be turned in on tuesday. Since, I was not able to go to the office on tuesday, I had to work at home, email it to her, and the guy that works at IDOT, which is the Illinois Department of Transportation. On tueday and wednesday, I got my work done for these two days and email them to Libby. I was so excited and could not wait to go back on thursday. On thursday, I was finnaly able to get done the clip book (adding some details), which Libby and I would have to present to the Board member during a meeting, which we have not picked out the date yet. I also started to work on a new task, I have to pick out events for the radio spots that we do each wednesday. This month, we are mostly picking out things thah are related to February which is the black history month. I think that I would be able to get this done by next week. I cannot believe that it's already a month. I am always happy to go into my placement because I am always supprised on what I would be asked to do or participate into. I realized that sometimes you do not need to know everything to be good at something, but as much you practice, you would be able to learn more and grow in what you are doing. I also learned to appreciate the work of every single person around me because I do not know how much effort and impact they put their work even tough I am not satisfied with the result of their work. It takes time, patience, and the love of what you do to create an amazing result.
