1/17

IDOT: Illinois Department Of Transportations.
TGs: Tourists Guides.

This week was not one of my favorites. I have been working on the same thing for a week now and it starting to get a little boring. On thurday, Libby and I went to the TIC at Market Place to fill out the stand. She also took me to the storage room where the CVB keeps all the brochures and informations about other companies that they work with or promote. We made the information space look nice. On our way back to the office, we talked about what we should do to get more people's attention on what is going on around them, mostly Champaign County. When We got to the office, I started working on the radio spots for the month of February and March. I did not know how much there is around here to do, until I did some research and found events that were interesting. On Friday, the environment in the office was kind of odd, maybe because everyone were so busy than they usually are. I did not even get to see and speak with Libby, Cory, Jayne, Angela, and the others. I also found myself being taken by so many tasks at once than most days. I had to mail letters and invoices to people. Libby and I decided that we were going to have a meeting every monday to see how things are going. We had one this monday, we talked about things that I should be able to get done for this month and what I need to keep in mind for the days to come. Seeing that list made me nervous because I did not think that i was going to be able to ge it done. By the end of the day, I was able to get most of the things done for the week and happy that it was time for me to go home. These days at the office, I learned that it is important to be really carefull with what comes out of your mouth. You can be surrounded by people who makes you upset half of the time you are with them, but you should know how to control yourself.
