Although I would have enjoyed an entire day off, I can't complain about having to go to my internship. Today I got to work the register, my first time interacting with customers! [D] I was a little nervous the first few times because I was moving a little slow and the customers didn't exactly look real happy. But then I got a nice guy who was really patient with me and he was a little slow when he was swiping his debit card, so he understood my situation [F]. Then the pharmacy got really busy and loads of scripts were coming in. So I was asked to help fill the scripts so we didn't fall too far behind. For about an hour there was always stacks of scripts and pills waiting to be counted and organized. But after that, things calmed down a bit [D]. Everyone was surprised at how busy we got because we all thought that today would be a slow day because of the weather. But I guess everyone in the hospital was in rush to get home before the snow [A].
Tomorrow I have my informational interview! [D] I'm not worried about it though because the pharmacist I'm interviewing is nice and we had fun talking and working last week [A].
