Cost Analysis: A sheet breaking down prices of a project to report everything seperatly

Today was a busy day! Yesterday before I left, Wade (sponsor) went over how to do a cost analysis sheet and told me that he wanted me to get started on that first thing today when I got in. (All this week I have been working on things to get stuff ready for my Digital Signage project, and the cost analysis is one of the last things I have to do before presenting to Jim! [Jim is the owner of Lincoln Square]) So never having done a cost analysis sheet before and knowing this is going to be shown to Jim, I was VERY nervous! But it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. I've learned throughout this internship that nothing is ever as scary as it seems at first. After I finished the first sheet, Wade and I went over it and he made a few corrections (nothing major)and told me I accidental left one thing out, so after I made those corrections, one of our tenants came in and I didn't have a chance to show him the final. This tenant had a meeting with Wade today that I was able to sit in on. The tenants lease is up at the end of this month, and so we had to talk about renewing the lease (since they want to stay). This involved talking about a few changes and making sure the needs of the tenant is still being met.

After this meeting we had another one scheduled for 2 with an electrician. We are in the process of bidding out electricians so we can get power to all the 6 spots in the mall that are going to have T.V.'s put in. He was late though, which gave us time to go over the cost analysis sheet. It was good this time, so I took the rest of the time to play around on excel and make the analysis look a little bit better. Once he got there we went over everything we needed to and showed him everything he needed to see. After that it was 315 and it was time to go home!

This has been a very productive week, getting things done that were essential to getting the project moving and getting the proposal into Jim. I can't wait to get the numbers back from the electrician so we can finish the analysis sheet and present everything to Jim!
