Crazy weather week! A good monday though.

New Vocabulary- Boot CD, Intranet, Trojan virus and Firmware

Well I must say this was a pretty typical day for me. (d)I did learn how to use a boot CD to kill a Trojan virus on a student teachers machine, and that was pretty exciting. It was nice to learn how to use it because I used the copy of the CD on my mothers computer and now it works! (f)I must say this though; happiness is only a CD and a mouse click away. (f)This internship has saved my mother the money she was going to spend on a brand new laptop. So thank you internship! (d)The other thing i did today was i learned how to create an image for Macs. That was pretty exciting, due to it being very similar to imaging PCs for the business lab.(a) I never realized how fun it can be to help fix computers. You get a certain joy out of helping people, and knowing what to do now that you have learned how to do it. (d)The other thing i did today was told Bryan Peters about my sisters machine and the problems it was facing. He gave me some advice on how to fix it, and he came to the conclusion of there being something wrong with windows software installation. So I went home and cleaned the computer, reinstalled windows and now the computer works great!(a) I am doing a lot of outside computer work which is great! I hope to fix one of my friends' computers pretty soon, I am loving the information I am obtaining, and hopefully I can learn more and become a Computer God!
