Today I showed up at the office and Julia told me that I would be transferring into the Child Support Enforcement unit of the S.A.O. Another intern and myself drove over to the Brookens office; my fellow interns name is Elizabeth, and she informed me that an attorney was on medical leave for the next 4 weeks and that we would be helping the remaining attorneys deal with the extra work load. We were introduced to Susan McGrath (Senior Assistant State's Attorney), given a brief tour of the building, and then we went to tackle our separate projects. I was really excited to be going somewhere else and to be seeing another section of the S.A.O.
Lucky me got to file for the rest of the day; mostly reorganizing the missing attorneys files, and filing for the attorneys that remained. This was ridiculously boring and I was a little worried that this is what I would be doing the whole week.
