Today was a pretty regular today at the office. When I arrived Kent and Sarah had several errands for me to run. I was to go make a deposit at the bank and then go file a few documents at the courthouse. This should have been a relatively quick run but turned into a huge ordeal. When I came back out of the bank from making the deposit I got into my car and it wouldn't start! I called my mom and she told me to put more oil in it which I did. I tried to start it again and it still wouldn't start so my mom had to come get me, I had to drop her back off at her job, and then I had to take her car to the courthouse. I thought this would be the worse of it but sadly I was wrong. I got into the courthouse and apparently there was a mix up with the check that Sarah had given me to cover the cost of filing the documents. The clerk told me it was too much and tried to refund the money but clearly didn't know what she was doing so I had to wait there while she slowly figured it out. When I finally left the courthouse I went out to my mom's car and there was a ticket on the dash! I guess this one was my fault because I forgot to pay the meter but luckily it was just a warning. Finally I arrived back at Follmer Law Offices and finished out the day by abstracting some more medical records for one of our personal injury cases. Sorry I missed you Mrs. Sherrick!
