3/7/11
So that day was I normal day I went in and I thought I was going to have the same patient again with both her ankles messed up but I ended up having a new patient. He came to therapy for his shoulder, and up until this point I haven’t learned anything about any shoulders. So my sponsor told me before he came that shoulders are about the easies patients because they tend to heel a lot faster than a ankle injury or knee. So I started out asking the patient what happened and how he felt when it happened and after his surgery. He told me he didn’t really feel it at the time but after his surgery that’s when he started to feel the pain. So then we had to figure out where his range of motion level was at, so we did a lot of over head lifting with and without weights (D) I was happy that I know how to deal with range and motion on a patients shoulder (F)I learned how to deal with rang and motion because that’s the first step you have to take when trying to figure out what type of exercises and stretches their going to be using.(A)
